On 22nd August 2016, it was confirmed that Jam Filled Entertainment had successfully acquired Arc Productions and thus taken over the animation for Thomas & Friends.Ī 2D-animated reboot and second theatrical film are currently in production, though it is currently unknown if the latter will have any connection to the main series.
